VALPANTENA

A THREAD SET IN STONE

divider-nero
It’s what ties us to Valpantena and connects our valley to its ancient origin, the roman settlements and pagan cults to the god Pan. It’s a thread that runs from its marble basins north of Verona, used to build villas, monuments, churches and backyards all over town, and that since the early excavation operations, roughly set between the year 1700 and 1800, runs all the way through the first processing companies in the second half of the 1900.

VALPANTENA AND US

This is where our consortium comes from and it’s the reason why we have been living and working in this valley for a long time. It’s an understatement that we care about the territory we’re in. Valpantena is our home and we treat it with the respect and care it deserves.

An industrial aqueduct supplying non-potable water for the production cycles of our companies and two restoration projects for the extraction activities on the hills: it’s the least we can do and also a good starting point for the protection of the environment.

ORSARA:

TENDING TO THE TERRITORY

Since 2009 we’ve been managing a silts landfill – residues from the processing of natural stone – located in Orsara, very close to Grezzana, which is available to our associates. The landfill is also an open quarry that extracts limestone for granulates.

As the extraction activities evolve, the excavated areas are re-filled, thus recomposing the original morphology of the hill. So we give back to the earth what belongs to her: after excavating we refill with residues of natural, properly checked non-polluting material.
